Benvenuta a questi versi
C’è una guerra in corso
ma cercherò di renderti la vita facile
Non seguire i miei discorsi
nascono solo dal mio nervosismo
Non ti feci l’amore
quand’eravamo studenti dell’Est?
Sì, questa casa è diversa
il villaggio presto cadrà
Ho eliminato tutto quello
che avrebbe potuto servire al nemico
Resteremo soli
finché i tempi non cambieranno
e coloro che hanno tradito
torneranno come pellegrini a questo momento
in cui noi non ci arrendemmo
a chiamare quest’oscurità “poesia”.

it’s just nervousness

when we were students of the East
Yes the house is different
I’ve removed whatever
might give comfort to the enemy
We are alone
until the times change
and those who have betrayed
come back like pilgrims to this moment
when we did not yield
and call this darkness “poetry”.
